Charity from 4th grade pupils of Bishop Mackenzie International School

His Excellency Mr Fujio Samukawa, Ambassador to Malawi, visited Bishop Mackenzie International School to attend a ceremony to receive donation from 4th grade pupils, their teachers and their parents, which was collected by them through a charity bazaar.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the Primary Head Teacher made her remarks, and then the Ambassador received from three pupils a book of condolences, donation and a white t-shirts centering a red circle with sad facial expression representing a Japanese flag and feeling for victims of the tragedy.

Ambassador took this opportunity to tell pupils about the earthquake and tsunami. The pupils learnt the serious damage occurred by the earthquake and the power of nature.
